Bishop's Pumpkin Patch 2011

Wow, I can't believe it's been a month since I blogged! Time sure flies by fast! We've been doing a lot of stuff, but I haven't had a chance to blog any of it.
We went to Bishop's Pumpkin Patch last week. It's such a great little pumpkin patch, and they have really done the place up in the last couple years. There is a lot more to do every single year. This year, they had a Sunflower farm, where you can go and pick your own sunflowers, they had a mining area, where we got to mine for marbles, and they had some huge new slides that Carter and Luke were loving! We didn't get to see the pig races, but Carter saw them when he went with his Kindergarten class on a fieldtrip to Bishop's the first week in October.
Luke LOVES animals, but when they're close up and bigger than him, he's a little unsure of them. He loved petting them all, and he loved the llama, but when it would get near him, he would get a little weary of it. Carter had a lot of fun feeding the goats. I think he went back for more food about 3 times!

Luke loved exploring and eating our ice cream cones

This is what telling Luke "No more" looks like...

Carter thought mining for marbles was about the coolest thing ever! He would have stayed all day if we had let him! The slides were also a big hit. As you can see, Luke was making his way up the steps all by himself he wanted to go on them so badly!

Hahahaha, I LOVE Luke's angry face. Lucy makes a similar one. They'll have some cute kids together one day.
